Wholesome Well-being during COVID-19 Lockdown by INK Salesians

Bangalore, Apr. 10. The Salesians of Don Bosco, Bangalore Province, in collaboration with BREADS, the Development Office of the Province, have left no stone unturned regarding the physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual needs of people during the COVID-19 lockdown. The Salesian institutions across Kerala and Karnataka have offered 10,000 food kits to 16629 persons as of now and many more in the future. The cooked food packets are being distributed to 1050 persons daily from the two Salesian centres. 61000 masks were stitched by Don Bosco tailoring centres, SHG women and volunteers and distributed to hospital staff, police personnel, health officials, vendors, shop keepers and the general public.
