Indian President appreciates Catholic Church`s service to tribal population in Bengal

Kolkata, Aug. 27. The President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee visited Don Bosco Catholic Church Palsondamore, in West Bengal, on 24 August, 2014, and laid the foundation stone for a mini hospital under the parish. It was a historic event in the annals of this small Parish of the diocese of Krishnagar, W.B., with a majority tribal population.
