The sacred relic reaches the Jaintia Hills

Guwahati, Jun. 10. Jowai, June 9: It is said, `to a friends home, the road is never long`. The venerated relic of St. John Bosco left Shillong for the Jaintia hills today and reached Mawkyndeng, Raliang at 11 this morning. Bidding farewell to their father and founder the nuns of Auxilium convent, Nongthymmai gathered around the relic once more with gratitude before their loving father. The Meghalaya police doing their bid as respect to the saint escorted the relic casket up to Raliang Don Bosco, Jowai. Read full text
