Shillong 10th October: It has been one year since the tragic demise of Archbishop Dominic Jala and Catholics across the city observed the solemn occasion by paying tribute to the late Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Shillong. A Holy Mass presided by the Archbishop of Guwahati Archbishop John Moolachira and concelebrated by five other bishops, priests, religious and few invited guests was held at the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians in Laitumkhrah. Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma together with other ministers also attended the Holy Mass. The 106th World Day of Migrants and Refugees (WDMR) is celebrated today with the title ''Like Jesus Christ, forced to flee'', Pope Francis urges us this year to discover the reality of internally displaced people more deeply.
