''Youth and Education Award 2015'' Awarded to Father VM Thomas and the ''Alberione Award 2015'' Awarded to Father Sebastian Ishorary

Guwahati, Dec. 7. The Salesian Provincial of Guwahati, Father VM Thomas was awarded the ''Youth and Education Award 2015'' by Christ International School, Umiam Meghalaya for the invaluable contribution made towards promoting Youth and Education.

The award was presented by Mr. V. Shanmuganathan, Governor of Meghalaya on 05 December, 2015. The Award was recognition for his passion and commitment to teaching, inspiring and nurturing the youth and the students.
Father Sebastian Ishorary was awarded the ''Alberione Award 2015'' for his Bodo translation of the Bible at the function organized by North East Social Communications (NESCOM) and Indian Catholic Press Association (ICPA) held at Monfort School, Guwahati on Sunday, 06 December, 2015. Most Rev. Salvadore Lobo, Bishop of Baruipur (W.B.) Chairman, CBCI-OSC presented the award to Father Sebastian.
