Adventure Games, Colour Party & New Year Celebrations Rock the 2nd Day of Boscoree

Tiruchy, Dec. 31. The second day of Boscoree 2014 began with the rouse call at 5.15 am. At 7 am Scouts and Guides gathered for the Holy Eucharis and all Faith prayer. Fr. Maria Charles, the Youth Pastoral Delegate for South Asia, presided over the Holy Eucharist for the Scouts. Fr. Rajadevan, the Camp chief, presided over the Holy Eucharist for the Guides. An all faith prayer was held at the same time.
The first item of the day was inspection at which the tents and gadgets at each sub camp were inspected by Scout Masters. Then the Friendship Games were conducted in each sub camp which also helped the participants to get to know each other.

From 11.30 am Physical Display and adventurous games by Scouts and Guides began to rock the campus. The Scouts and Guides participated in the adventures with enthusiasm and joy. They displayed their talents especially through making pyramids and performing aerobics.

At 5.30 pm Colour Party was commenced. 5 representative Scouts and Guides in each unit dressed in colourful cultural costumes, stunned the gathering with their performance. At 6.30 pm the RORA Sangamam was conducted. Then the Rovers and Rangers came together for some moments of evaluation and planning. The preliminary Quiz round on Don Bosco and Scouting was organised at 7 pm. Thereater competitions were organized on presenting the theme of Boscoree ''Heal the world''.

After dinner the Scouts and Guides had a sing song, followed by the competitions. At 11.30 the New Year celebrations commenced. The New Year Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Maria Arockiam Kanaga SDB, the Regional of South Asia. During the homily he called the Scouts and Guides to heal the world through awareness, hard work and faith in God.
