Savio D'Mello from Mumbai province assisted by Bro. Johny Thaiparambil from Kolkata Province animated the sessions centred on the theme ''The Call to Holiness - The Wounded Healer'', in preparation for the event to ensue  The 7th Congress of the SDB Brothers.
The inaugural session with twenty participants began in the evening of 1st September with a welcome note by Fr. TV Jacob, Rector of the Provincial House.

During the Holy Eucharist and Adoration which followed, the Brothers thanked God for their call and prayed for more labourers.

The main programmes in the following days consisted of animated prayers, Mass and three sessions during the day. Evenings were dedicated to pilgrimages to various Churches.

On 4th September, the last day of the programme, the Brothers left for Bandel to pray for the deceased and intercede for more vocations to Salesian life.
