Shillong, Jul. 28. ''An unexamined life is not worth living'' is an adage of Socrates. The 35 junior priests of both Guwahati (ING) and Silchar (INS) Salesian provinces gathered together at Siloam for their annual junior priests meet.  The meeting lasted three days beginning on 21st till 23rd July 2013. Fr. Edison Fernandes of INB Province animated the programme with zest and great concern for the holistic well being of the young priests. This, he effected by blending psychological and spiritual elements and he stressed on the 'know how' of oneself.
The three day programme was indeed soul searching and self examining event. The programme not only gave tips to progress in life but improved camaraderie through group sharing and personal chit chats.  Everyone was happy and expressed their satisfaction saying: 'among similar events held in the past years, there has not been as edifying and helpful as this programme'. The programme came to an end with a joy ride on the newly inaugurated by-pass road.

The Vice Provincials of both INS and ING provinces, Frs. Paul Olphindro Lyngkot and Thomas Lakra respectively, organized and accompanied the event throughout.  Fr. George Palamattam and his support team at Siloam hosted the event generously.
