Value Education Day at Ahmednagar

Mumbai, Feb. 19. February 15, 2013 Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra organized a Value Education Day for Ninth standard students of Sacred Heart Convent School and Auxilium School. It was held for the first time in the Nagar region. Theme chosen for this day was ''Together We Grow'' and the resource person for the day was Fr. Glenn Lowe, sdb.
The programme began with a short prayer and a prayer dance by Sacred Heart students. ThePrincipal, Sacred Heart School, welcomed all, after which Fr. Glenn took over.

He exhorted the students to go MAD i.e. Make A Difference. He also emphasized on having values in one's life. The sessions were very inspiring and thought provoking as Fr. Glen shared some of his personal life experiences.

After lunch, the students had a cultural programme based on the theme of the day. Students put up excellent performances and they were very well appreciated by the audience.

There were Four hundred and thirty students who participated in this programme. This concept of having a Value Education day for different schools was well appreciated by the students and the school authorities.
