Mumbai, Nov. 17. The Don Bosco Scouts and Guides meet ''Gromo 2013'' concluded on a happy note on Childrens' day, 14 November in Lonavla.
Many State and District heads of the Scouts and Guides Movement were present at the concluding ceremony.
The concluding ceremony took place in the Don Bosco Hall, Lonavla. It began with a very meaningful Prayer Service led by the Don Bosco Scouts and Guides Troop. Mr. Bhaidas Nagarale, Maharashtra State Scouts and Guides Chief Commissioner,  Mr. Sonawane, Organising Secretary, Mrs. Darshana Pawaskar and Mr. Sudakar Tambe, Disctrict Commissioners for Scouts and Guides respectively, were the Guests of Honour along with many other dignitaries.

GROMO 2013 Awards were given for the various competitions that were held during the Meet. Individual prizes were given for the Best Troop leader, Best Scout, Best Guide, Promising Scout and Promising Guide. A prize was given also for the Upcoming Troop. Don Bosco Nashik bagged the GROMO 2013 trophy for the Best Troop.

Many Scouts and Guides also came forward to showcase their talents by performing short plays, songs, mimicry and dances. Being Children's Day, there was a special magic show to entertain all the children. Everyone enjoyed the magic and were awestruck with what they saw.

The ceremony ended with a Vote of thanks to all those who made Gromo 2013 possible and a great success. The Camp Co-ordinator Fr. Lorenzo D'Souza, and the Camp Chief Fr. Anthony Goyal were specially thanked for all the trouble they had taken to organize GROMO 2013.

The day had begun with a Holy Eucharist celebrated by Fr. Cleophas Braganza, head of the Groups and Movements for Mumbai Province, for the catholic Scouts and Guides, while those belonging to other Faiths had their Scout's Own seperately. Sir John Swami had given the morning's message for all.

GROMO 2013 ended on a happy note with everyone dancing to the tune of the DJ. All the participants carried wonderful memories of these adventurous and fun filled days with them as they returned to their homes.
