Tiruchy, Oct. 29. On 24th of September, four new members who have truly understood the spirit and goal of ADMA joined the association from Mary Help of Christians Parish, Manakkal, Lalgudi, with much eagerness and dedication to spread devotion to Mary Help of Christians.

The ceremony of making the membership \''Promises\'' took place during a Solemn Holy Eucharist which was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Doss Kennedy SDB, the Vice Provincial and Rev. Fr. Noel SDB, the Parish Priest.

During the homily Fr. Kennedy stressed on the importance of involvement of lay people in mission of Jesus Christ and enumerated in detail the roles and responsibilities of ADMA.

The celebrants wished the new members and assured them of their full cooperation in spreading the devotion to Mary Help of Christians.

The Association of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA), founded by Don Bosco in 1869 at the Shrine of Mary Help Christians of Valdocco (Turin, Italy), is a group of the Salesian family and is widespread throughout the world, particularly in the places where there is the presence of the Salesians and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians. The ADMA promotes the cult of the Eucharist and the devotion to Mary Help of Christians, in all forms, public and private approved by the Church, paying particular attention to families and young people.
