University Students visit Assam Chief Minister with donation

Guwahati, Oct. 16. A six member team from Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU) met with Assam Chief Minister Shri Tarun Gogoi at his office, 16 October, and presented him with a cheque of Rs. 25,000 collected from the students and faculty to provide relief for the victims of recent flood.
The Chief Minister was very happy to receive the cheque and appreciated the efforts of ADBU students.

He said ''on behalf of the people of Assam, I deeply acknowledge the Assam Don Bosco University, Fr. Stephen Mavely and all the students. Don Bosco society is always working for the society and I know they will continue it in the future also.''

He was very happy to hear about the sacrifices and hard work done recently by ADBU's team of 54 MSW students and faculty for flood affected people of Hahim, and he thanked them.
