Annual Day & Book Releasing Celebrations: Don Bosco Anbu Illam, Tiruchy Province.

Tiruchy, Feb. 21. It was the grace filled and grateful day for Don Bosco Anbu Illam, Coimbatore, as it had its 19th annual day celebration on 30th January 2011. Another highlight of the day was releasing of 4 books namely 'Vetta Velicham', 'Thulirvidum Thalirgal', 'Government Schemes and HIV' and 'Udal Nalam Kaappoom'.
It was the grace filled and grateful day for Don Bosco Anbu Illam, Coimbatore, as it had its 19th annual day celebration on 30th January 2011. The Assistant Commissioner of Police Mr. Balaji Saravanan, Fr. Thamburaj sdb, Director, Cauveri Development Office, Tiruchy and Fr. Kanaga (Procure Director of Coimbatore Diocese) were the special guests of honor for the celebration. A short film on the achievements of the past pupils of Don Bosco Anbu Illam and the annual report of the work were the highlights of the event. Followed by all the benefactors were felicitated by mementos each as a token of our gratitude.
Book Releasing
This was another highlight of the day of releasing of 4 books by Don Bosco Anbu Illam.
Vetta Velicham - It is a kind of hand book about the uncertainty and unprotected situation of the children in society.
Thulirvidum Thalirgal - It speaks about the rehabilitation of 24 children after being rescued from the difficult situations like; rejection by Parents, kidnap, poverty etc.
Government Schemes and HIV - It enumerates about the different government schemes and awareness on aids to the people.
Udal Nalam Kaappoom- A hand book for Mothers as a guide line to bring up healthy children.
