The eye camp was led by Dr.Swapna Sarkar and her team from the Tura Civil Hospital. Some 200 students and people from the neighbouring villages had their eyes examined by the team. The team has promised to conduct free cataract operations for those who need them.
The blood donation pledge witnessed more than 400 students signing up forms with an undertaking to donate their blood to the needy patients on request of the hospitals or patients. Sr Prabha and the staff of the Holy Cross Hospital, Tura, conducted an awareness workshop and checked blood groups of students.

The programme was led by the management and staff of the college with the active collaboration of the student leaders of the college.
