Former Provincial of INM, Fr Vincent Durairaj Passes Away

Chennai, Aug. 1. Father Vincent Durairaj, the former Provincial of Salesian Province of Chennai (INM), succumbed to Covid-19 related ailments at Kaveri Hospital, Chennai, on Saturday evening. He was 84 years old.

Fr Durairaj was tested negative on the morning of Saturday. However, late in the evening at 10.10, he passed away. A requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Bede's at 9.30 am on Sunday, August 1, and the mortal remains will be taken to Don Bosco, Tirupattur, for the final funeral rites and the burial at 4.00 pm.
