Salesian News South Asia Podcast hits 25th Episode

Kolkata, Nov. 7.   Darjeeling: 7th November 2020. Radio Salesian team has successfully completed 25 episodes of Salesian News South Asia weekly podcast, 7th November 2020.

The show is broadcast on Monday at 9.00 am on Radio Salesian 90.8 FM as well as on web radio App 'Listen2MyRadio'.

The Radio Salesian Podcast Team consists of RJ Bryan Kerr in Kurseong, Fr. C.M. Paul in Sonada and Tech Team Leader Fr. P.T. Joseph in Chennai.

The first episode was aired on 24th May 2020, World Communications Day and Feast of Mary Help of Christians with simultaneous launch from Calcutta Province Salesian Novitiate, Dhajea (Darjeeling); and Salesian Mother House, Turin (Italy).

On 7th November 2020, the podcast series successfully completes 25th episode gathering listeners in 67 countries.

Hosted on AnchorFM, the podcast is currently distributed on four other podcast platforms : Google Podcast, Apple Podcast, Radio Public, and Spotify reaching some 1,500 listeners for each episode.

The podcast released on every Saturday afternoon is about 10 to 12 minutes duration. It features 6 or 8 stories of interest to Salesian Family South Asia comprising of Fathers, Brothers, Sisters, Past-pupils, Cooperators and other members belonging to the vast Salesian Family. END
