DBCM Sings Vande Mataram

By College Reporter
Dimapur, Nov. 5. Vande Mataram, We hail thee Mother India. India has been blessed with different cultures, languages and people. The land of North East is an assemblage of people of different origins and civilization.
Her panoramic beauty is memorable and soothing. Her mountains and valleys fascinate any visitor to her abode. Here radiance and splendour is seen in dresses, languages, dances and houses.  These steps from the land of the Jewels - Manipur - are the conglomeration of varied cultures of Manipur.  The land is inhabited by the Meiteis in the valley and 29 major hill tribes that constitute two main ethno-denominations namely Nagas and Kuki-chins.  The rhymic steps are brought by 33 young artists of Don Bosco College, Maram. Their different attire and steps speak volumes of differences and yet unity is possible. Don Bosco College, Maram  presents - Vande Mataram - we hail thee Mother India.
