Organic Gardening camp organised for Children

Tiruchy, Nov. 13. The children of Don Bosco Eco Clubs at Don Bosco Thanjavur gathered on 4th-5th November, 2017, for a two day training programme and workshop on 'Organic Gardening.'

Children were motivated to become promoters of a green and clean world. They were encouraged to keep their surroundings clean, green, organic and plastic free zone. A rally was organized into the city, with slogans and placards creating eco-awareness with an invitation to join hands in their green campaign. Salesian priests Father Ricopar, Father Amirthanathan, Father Gerard Britto, Father Asvin and Father John Madasseril animated the children on various topics and accompanied them in the rally. At the end of the meeting the children carried organic seeds to their homes. Fathr Barnabass John, organized the event together with Mr. Arockiaraj.
