Students from the USA are trained in short film making at Don Bosco MEDIA from 23rd to 26th February. There were a group of four students and two instructors attended short film making training and made two short films in two groups.
The students came from different Universities and they hailed from different cities like New York, Washington, Boston, Connecticut. They were enthusiastic and admired at the facilities offered for training in media.
Trudy DeLong, Resident Director of South India Term Abroad (SITA) program wished that this programme continues every year and also suggested that students from the USA come for longer period to Don Bosco MEDIA. She was all in praise for the centre for giving both theoretical framework and abundant practical experience. 'Though Apple computers are produced in the United States, it is at Don Bosco MEDIA that we got to learn' she remarked.
'Thank you so much for this incredible experience. Everyone has been so friendly and helpful. We've learned so much in just 3 days and are really happy with our movies. We look forward to visiting again soon' - Mary Willems.
The group has decided to come and spend a few more days and one of them offered to forego holydays to be able to stay in Don Bosco MEDIA. This speaks volumes of us.
