Mumbai, Jun. 1. As COVID-19 lockdown begins to ease, with Unlock 1.0, the Spirit reminds that God Still Loves the World and with the Blessed Virgin Mary Mother of the Church, the sons of Don Bosco together with the entire Salesian family, alumni, cooperators, collaborators, and well-wishers can journey on being 'signs and bearers of God's love to the young. In order that this may be so, Indian Salesian Father Peter Gonsalves, Dean of the Faculty of Social Communication Sciences of the Salesian Pontifical University [UPS] Rome, and appointed by Pope Francis in 2017 as Consultant to the Vatican Secretariat for Communications, offers 02 of his musical albums: The Peter Gonsalves Collection and The Marian Collection, for 'free' on YouTube.
The Peter Gonsalves Collection: Lyrical Food for the Soul relesead in 2012, commemorated the silver jubilee of his priestly ordination (1987-2012) with a special release of 70 of Father Gonsalves' songs in MP3 format on the 20th anniversary of Tej-Prasarini (1992-2012), which he had initiated. Containing compositions from 1984 onwards from 05 albums: God Still Love the World, Beautiful, Everyday its Christmas, Jesus is Wonderful, I Celebrate You and an Epilogue, these 70 songs are now made available by Father Gonsalves in 06 videos, along with the Music Score linked below each video.
Father Gonsalves had in an interview in 2012 said, ''Apart from a few of my hymns, most of my songs are composed for the 'liturgy of life', meant to give greater depth to our routine everyday experiences. I want my lyrics to speak frankly to the heart of the listener engaged in the battle of existence, struggling to make ends meet, suffering injustice, tempted by mediocrity, discouraged by failings, fighting addiction.'' To begin, listen to the first album: God Still loves the World

The Marian Collection released in August 2019 as a tribute of 21 hymns [including translation and adaptation of Italian hymnsfrom the hymnals 'Nella Casa del Padre' (1997) and 'Cantinfesta' (2004) with the permission of 'Elledici', Turin-Italy] to the Mother of Jesus Christ, the world's 1st Christ-bearer, is also now available for free on YouTube. This not-for-profit musical-educational initiative, Marian Collection of 21 recorded hymns along with lyrics and music, is produced by Father Edwin D'souza Director Shrine of Don Bosco's Madonna Matunga-Mumbai; executed by Father Joaquim Fernandes - former DirectorTej-Prasarini Don Bosco Communications, and former National Delegate BOSCOM South Asia; with Music Score compiled by Jay Franco, Toronto.

Few MumbaiSalesians also feature as composers - Father Desmond Paes (nos. 15, 17); and Father Ronnie Menezes (n. 3) of happy memory; and Father Peter Gonsalves (nos. 1, 5, 10, 14, 19, 20, 21) The sound design, choir, recording, mixing, and mastering was managed at TejKiran Studios at Matunga-Mumbai, by Amon Daniels [Audio Engineer, Music Arranger, Guitarist/Bassist,Recording Artist and Music Programmer].

Father Gonsalves says, ''This is a modest attestation to the joy of believing in a God who renews and redeems the world through the generous cooperation of ordinary, insignificant people ready to make His dream a reality in their daily lives - just like Mary.'' The Marian Collection .
