Sad Demise of Father Antony Joseph SDB, Salesian Provincial of Tiruchy

Mumbai, Sep. 11. (Tiruchy) With much sorrow, we communicate the sudden death of Father Antony Joseph SDB, Provincial, Salesian Provincial of Tiruchy passed away today at 04.15 am this morning (11 September 2019) at Kavery Hospital, Tiruchy.

He suffered internal bleeding last evening which severely damaged some internal organs. The doctors declared him dead at 04.15 am.

There will be a Requiem Mass at the Provincial House on 11 September 2019 at 01.00 PM in the afternoon. The Salesians, Salesian Family Members of Tiruchy Zone will join for the mass.

The mortal remains of Fr. Antony Joseph, will be then shifted to Mary Help of Shrine at AMSAM, Tiruchy. The Funeral Mass will be held on 12 September 2019 at 11 am. May his soul rest in peace. Our condolences to the bereaved family members.
