Mumbai, Dec. 15.
12/12/12 was indeed a very exciting day to begin the College Youth Group of Don Bosco Savedi. Fr. Anthony Goyal along with Cl. Ranson D'Souza brought together the 24 Catholic youth of the Don Bosco Savedi college to mark the beginning of the College Youth Group on 12/12/12 exactly at 12 noon.
The meeting began with a prayer, after which Fr. Anthony told the youngsters as to why they were meeting together. ''Today is a very special day during which people will do things which they will always remember, and so we have chosen this day to begin our college youth group'', he explained.

He went on to explain the concept of the Youth Group and thereafter held the elections for the leadership posts. Out of the four candidates who stood for the election, Yogesh was elected with a majority as the President of the Youth Group, and Vidya was elected with a majority as the vice-president. Both of them willingly accepted to shoulder these responsibilities. Fr. Anthony then went on to explain their first task at hand - that of organizing the Family Day on the forthcoming feast of the Holy Family.

Before concluding the meeting all the youngsters filled in their membership forms and handed them over to Fr. Anthony. All the youngsters looked very excited and enthused to take on their first task. Everyone was seen discussing ideas in spontaneous groups as they went home.
