Kolkata, May. 14. DBTECH (Don Bosco Tech) Kolkata is organising SHILPANGON 2011, a job fair at Don Bosco Park Circus, Kolkata on Friday, May 20, 2011. DBTECH Kolkata intends to bring together 2000 young talents under the SHILPANGON 2011 banner to fill the skills gap in the country.

The sectors in focus are Welding, Refrigeration & Air-conditioning, Automobile, Electrical, Electronics, ITES, Mechanical, Industrial Sewing Machine Operator, Hospitality, Retail & Sales, Security Services and Construction.

SHILPANGON 2011 will bring together industries, government officials, and job-ready youths on a common platform for a win-win interface. Siemens, Taj, ITC, Shrachi, Pizza Hut, Aegis BPO, and Bengal Merlin are among our leading industry partners.

DBTECH is a network of over 150 Don Bosco skill training centers spread across the country making it the largest private provider of skill development in India. All the centers provide employment-linked, market-oriented vocational training of Short & Long courses to economically and socially challenged youth. DBTECH offers 100% pre & post placement assistance and guidance to the trainees who have successfully completed the training. They are assisted with accommodation, food and travelling during this period. DBTECH follows the post-placement tracking and follow-up of the youngsters for the next 365 days from the day of training-commencement.

The Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), has sought the help of DBTECH in training and employment of rural BPL youth at the national level. With the priority for the poor and marginalized, the DBTECH India network offers competent opportunities for the youth to become skilled and useful human resource who can contribute to nation building.

SHILPANGON 2011 will ensure that DBTECH fulfills its resolve to provide employment opportunities for skilled youth.
