Guwahati, Sep. 15. The 15th Book of John Parankimalil SDB, popularly known as Father P.D. Johny, titled 'Inspirational Stories for Purposeful Living-Vol 3 was released in Guwahati by Father Januarius S Sangma, Salesian Provincial of Guwahati Province on 14th September 2020.

Father Januarius presented the first copies to Father Joseph L. Teron, Vice Provincial, who was celebrating his birthday on 14th and to Mr. Allen Brooks, a great lay leader and an ardent supporter of Don Bosco.
Introducing the book, Albany K. Joseph and Anson Joy, students of Father Johny, spoke of Father John as a story teller, a motivator and someone who can inspire anyone through his talks, life and example. Albany said, ''The Stories of Father Johny have captured my mind, heart and imagination and I have often wondered from where does Father Johny get all his stories.''

Anson Joy said that the book is divided into five broad categories - Motivational, Inspirational, Humorous, Challenging and Uplifting. Father Johny has followed the similar structure as in his other two volumes, - first we have the title of the story; followed by an appropriate quote; then the gripping story itself; and finally, a reflection for practical living.

Father John in his speech thanked God for His blessings. He thanked the Provincial and the entire Council f or their constant support and assistance. He expressed his gratitude to Mr. Francis Sarkar for the cover design and layout; to Angela Chetri for recording some of the stories into the computer; to Anson Joy, Edmund Marak, Albany K. Joseph, and Chinky Barua for proof reading; to DBI family for their unfailing support and encouragement; and to Bhabani Books for printing and publishing my work.
