Guwahati, Oct. 3.  In a rare gesture of affection and love towards a missionary from northeast India (Guwahati province) who served the parish with much dedication and zeal, the parishioners named a street in his honour marking 50th year of the founding of the parish.
The Indian missionary and former parish priest of Holy Family Church at Pico Truncado (Patagonia, Argentina) Fr Patrick Warjri was in for a shock when he visited the parish for the celebration of its golden jubilee on Saturday 28 September 2013.
Fr Warjri was accompanied by the parish priest and Secretary of the Local Government Mr Marcelo Aguilar who turned up to unveil the street sign named after the missionary.

At the celebration that followed the street naming ceremony Fr. Warjri, became emotional.

During the toast to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the Holy Family parish, Fr Warjri recalled many pleasant moments lived during his stay as parish priest.

Even social media networks witnessed it and echoed the chorus ''Patrick!!! No te vamos a dejar ir, ya ests en nuestros corazones y ahora en una calle truncadense!'' (''Patrick! We will not let go, you're in our hearts and now in a street of Truncado!'')

The city of Pico Truncado, also known as the Gas Capital, is located in the Deseado area, north of the province of Santa Cruz, 60 km from the Atlantic Ocean and 200 meters above the sea. This town is the third largest city in the province of Santa Cruz.
