Chennai, Nov. 6. The Relic of Don Bosco was given a colourful welcome by the students, staff and Sisters of St. Joseph School, Aarani, this afternoon. The students expressed their joy through a series of songs and dances.
The relic reached St Joseph School, Arni, around 12.15 p.m. The Salesian Cooperators performed the traditional arathi to Don Bosco and led the students in prayer to honour Don Bosco. The FMA Sisters of the community, along with their staff, and students filed past the casket, offering their homage to the Father and Teacher of the Young. A large number of people from the neighbouring villages flocked to the school to seek the blessings of Don Bosco.
At around 2.00 p.m. the students bid farewell to Don Bosco and the relic was taken to Chetpet.
