Don Bosco is a saint of all times. He lives among us adapting to the signs of the times. Don Bosco is relevant as long as young people are in this world. Don Bosco, though two hundred years old still lives among us and inspires us in every field we enter into whether it is Music, Sports, Studies, Discipline, Religiosity, obedience, love for the church and what not. Don Bosco is not out dated with the upcoming new trends and techy lifestyles. He was relevant to the street urchins of Italy in the nineteenth century as he makes life meaningful to the folks of 21st century today. If Don Bosco was not meaningful, we would not have 15,952 Salesians in the world which includes Bishops and novices spread all over 92 provinces and in 136 countries (as per the statistical data presented on Dec. 31st 2009)
Don Bosco is an evergreen saint.
