SHTC Excellence Awards Conferred on Graduation Day

Shillong, Nov. 13. Sacred Heart Theological College (SHTC) Excellence Awards were conferred on five students during the 2nd Graduation Day celebrations at SHTC Mawlai, Shillong on 13 November. Thirty deacons and six Sisters graduated from the College this academic year.
The Chief guest of the day Rev. Fr. Linus Neli, Rector of Oriens Theological College, Mawlai, delivered a message to the graduates with a lot of practical advices for them prior to giving away the graduation certificates.

The five excellence awards of the College were given to the following winners: Kanjuparambil Award for excellence in Scripture study to Br. Albert Kujur; the Piasecki Award for excellence in Missiology to Br. Aneesh Chacko V.; the Gutierrez Award for excellence in Systematic Theology to Sr. Genevieve Khai�; the Kottuppallil Award for excellence in Church History to Br. Christopher; and the Paviotti Award for excellence in ITLR study to Sr. Teilanda Syngkon.

One of the deacons, Br. Nijil Chiramal delivered a farewell address on behalf of the new graduates. The programme was interspersed with a few melodious musical items by the students.
