Panjim, Nov. 6. Camporee of the Province of Panjim held at Sulcorna, Goa, from 28th October ended successfully on 31st October, crowning Don Bosco Oros as the Camporee Champs 2013, with Don Bosco Farm High School, Sulcorna, Goa as the runner up. Fr Albano Fernandes, the Camp Chief, declared the Camporee 2013 closed and invited the campers to prepare themselves well for the next Boscoree which will take place in December 2014.
The four days were filled with great excitement and enthusiasm for all the Scouts and Guides, everyone striving to do well and to succeed in every field.

The campers had prepared themselves to stay alert and ready whether during the day or night. At the single whistle they gathered, promptly finished the given tasks, stayed together and learnt to be united. They climbed mountains and trees, erected towers and built bridges of staves, stayed close to nature and had a wonderful experience of the thrill of simple living in tents.

Miss Valerie, from St Michael's High School, Anjuna, Goa, and three time winner of the best Troop of Goa prize,  exclaimed,''Don Bosco's make scouting different'', a well deserved compliment for the organizers. She was the only participant from a non-Salesian School.

Fr albano Fernandes, the Camp Chief, had in his team, the veteran Fr Thomas Fernandes along with Fr Anisio Mota, Fr Edwin Baracho, Fr Richard Correia, Fr Joe Fernandes, Fr Clive Telles and deacon Joel D'Souza to organize the entire Camporee. The other officials officiating as trainers were Fr Thomas Maria Raj, (INM) and Mr. Raja from Chennai. Mr. Babu Kavlekar, MLA Quepem constituency graced the valedictory function with his presence as the Chief Guest.
