Panjim, Oct. 30. The Annual Camporee of the province of Panjim with the theme of Boscoree 2014 ''HEAL THE WORLD'' was kick-started on 28th October, 2013 at Don Bosco Agro-Ed Complex, Sulcorna, Goa.

Five Salesian schools from Tuem, Panjim, Oros, Quepem and host community Sulcorna, along with a guest school St Michael's High School, Anjuna, have participated in the Camporee. St Michael's High School, Anjuna, has been awarded the best Scout Troop of Goa for the last 3 years in a row.

The Rector of Sulcorna Fr Edwin Baracho, sdb, welcomed 383 guides and scouts along with their Scout-Masters and Guide-Captains after their arrival at the Camp site. At the general instructions by Fr Albano Fernandes, sdb, the Camp Chief, the campers earnestly began pitching their tents. The other officials officiating as trainers were Fr Thomas Maria Raj, sdb (INM) and Mr. Raja from Chennai who has participated in all the 11 previous Boscorees.

The entire camp came alive with bright shining torch lights in the tents, as the sun set down the Corla hills. ''This indeed looks beautiful'', said Fr. Chrysologus D'cunha, sdb, a veteran of Sulcorna.

After the 'good night' talk by Fr Clive Telles, sdb, while the sentries guarded the tents, the campers slept a restful sleep. The official inauguration was held on 29th with the presence of Fr Paul D'Souza, Vice Provincial.
