Practical Trainees of Konkan Province Meet at Odxel

Panjim, Aug. 26. The Practical Trainees of Panjim - Konkan Province (INP) met for the second time in this academic year at Don Bosco Provincial House, Odxel from 24th August to 25th August.
Fr. Ralin De Souza, the Social Communication Delegate of INP, shared his expertise on Media. He elaborated on the ''role of Media in education today'' and on the ''creative writing skills''. He made the sessions very practical, interactive and informative.

Fr. Ian Figueiredo, Provincial presided at the Sunday Holy Eucharist, with a meaningful and enriching homily and thereafter took a session for the Practical Trainees presenting the ''Recommendations to the seminarians by Pope Francis'' and ''Guidelines on child policy''.

The final interactive session was moderated by Fr. Paul D'Souza, the Vice-Provincial. He facilitated an open interaction between the Practical trainees and the Panelists comprising of salesians having worked in different roles. Fr. Alexinho Rodrigues, Fr. Tamatur Cardozo and Fr. Avin Carvalho were on the panel.

The challenges in Practical Training and the ways to be effective salesian assistants were discussed in a frank manner. The panelists shared very ably and passionately their rich views and their own experiences as Salesian assistants.
