Panjim, May. 4. To commemorate the year of Faith, Don Bosco Oratory, Panjim organised a live performance of Gospel Faith music, culminating with a moment of prayer on the 14th of April, 2013.
After the performance of the Gospel Musical, 'The Carpenter's Cross', Don Bosco Oratory, organized yet another event to commemorate the year of Faith, making the faithful, especially the youth aware of what 'is' the Year of faith and what 'Can We Do' in this year of Faith.

Held on the 14th of April, this Mega event was organized with three Bands performing live: The colated Oratory Youth Band, A26 - a professional band from Goa, and Grace Afterglow - a Gospel band from Mumbai.

The music was made more vibrant and participative by the Floor Fillers dance group, and the children from Don Bosco Fatorda enchanted the audience with their melodious performance. The professionally set stage with a Huge Ship, signifying the logo of the Year of Faith, and the comperes who introduced each part of the program with short quotes and insights into the year of faith kept the crowd engrossed.

The climax was of course the exposition of the blessed sacrament right in the middle of the stage, solemnly inviting all to spend 10 mins in absolute silence. It was an emotional moment for all present to strike a balance with God and themselves in the midst of song and music.

To signify beacons of light, that we ought to be with our faith rejuvenated, the audience was invited to help light 50 wish lanterns that lit the sky with rising glows of flame.
This was another initiative that was well appreciated and participated by the youth.
