Vocation Camp at Shirva

Panjim, Oct. 26. The October vocation camp (22nd - 24th) at Don Bosco Youth Centre, Shirva began on 22nd morning 9.30 a.m. There were 37 boys and 4 volunteers attending the camp.

The camp began with the prayer service organized by Br. Roshan. Fr. Maxim D'Souza, Rector of DBYC welcomed the boys.

Along with games, yells and action songs, there were sessions, animated morning prayers, rosary services, nature mass, inspirational movie, etc. were organized for the boys.

Fr. Maxim, Fr. Augustine, Fr. Santaremend, Bro. Roshan and Bro. Merwin took sessions on God's Call, Salesian vocation, Life of Don Bosco, Salesian mission, Salesian around the world. Brothers had organized lightening tournament and night games on the first day.

There was trekking and grand camp fire on the second day. On the third day we had question hour and Don Bosco quiz competition.

Boys participated well in the camp and enjoyed it to the full. We concluded the camp on 24th evening with the recap of events.
