Altar Servers Rally in TUEM

Panjim, Oct. 17. On 14th of October , 2012 the community of Don Bosco together with the Parish of St. Francis Xavier Tuem organized an Altar servers Rally for all the parishes of the Pernem Deanery.
The total number of participants was around 250. The day began with registration, distribution of badges, snacks followed by actions songs and ice breakers.

Once the registration was over the Rector of Don Bosco Tuem, Rev. Fr. Lino Lopez welcomed the gathering and led everyone to pray so that the day may go well with the grace of God.

Cl. Avison Fernandes conducted an input session for the altar servers where the altar servers were made aware of their important role and they were also introduced to the patron of Altar Servers St. John Berchmans.

The solemn Eucharist at 12:15p.m was presided over by Fr. Lino Lopez the Rector of Don Bosco Tuem.

At around 2:00p.m there was an inter- parish Biblical quiz competition conducted by the clerics with the help of some boarders, followed by tele-games.

The Dean of Pernem Deanery Rev. Fr. Rocklin D'Souza visited Don Bosco campus and thanked the fathers and clerics for shouldering this responsibility of organizing the altar servers rally. Fr. Constantine Fernandes did the meticulous planning and organization of the rally.
