Representatives from the various groups of the Salesian Family had a three-day ''Training for Trainers'' programme on Gender Equity Education on 27-29 March at DBICA, Chennai. The interactive programme was intended to give the participants clear concepts on gender equity, better understanding of the laws for the protection of women and to provide the participants with a framework for gender analysis and ways of addressing situations of violation against women. . Chennai: The 9th International Short Film Festival of India (ISFFI),Chennai hit the screens of selected city theatres on 25-26th March 2015, unrolling a vibrant selection of short films, documentaries and animations. Out of the 1150 entries that came in for the festival from 66 countries, 66 short films from 20 countries were selected and screened during this two day festival. . Bangalore: The 8th National Convention of DB Tech 'Redefining Quality and Technology' was held on 20-21 March 2015 in Bangalore. The convention was held in the context of the inauguration of the Don Bosco Skill Mission (DBSM), a new research and innovation skill training centre of DB Tech in the city. The convention, coordinated by DBSM director, Fr. Remesh Cherian aimed at re-looking at the practices and approaches in the area of skill development in order to achieve the ambitious mission that DB Tech has set itself, which is to train 2.2 million youth by 2022.. Mathew Uzhunnalil SDB today 21 st March 2015, at 5.15 p.m., at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Pazhanganad, Kerala. The Funeral will be at 10.00 a.m. on Monday, 23rd March, at Don Bosco Bhavan, Mannuthy. May the soul of our dear departed confrere through the mercy of God Rest in Peace!
