''The song may be over...the melody you have created is immortal.'' These were the words of Sr. Margaret, the CRI President of Bangalore for Fr. Paul Puthanangady on the day of his funeral. After a year of his death, Fr. Paul was remembered by his confreres, relatives and students at Kristu Jyoti College on 14 November 2014. The day was marked by a requiem mass celebrated by Archbishop Dominic Jala of Shillong. The mass was attended by the 300 students of Kristu Jyoti College, about 30 relatives of Fr. Puthanangady and the neighbouring communities and religious.. Read More

The fifth Edition of DBIFF (Don Bosco International Film Festival) organised by Don Bosco Image, Kochi, in collaboration with ishare programme will begin on 22 November and conclude on 23 November with the award ceremony. DBIFF brings together cinema enthusiasts, filmmakers and artists to discover the best in short films across the country. Over 100 short films will be screened in Full HD quality on the festival days. Boys and girls from Don Bosco Anbu Illam and Marialaya, Coimbatore staged street plays in 33 public places in the district, including major bus stands in connection with a Week long ''campaign against Child Abuse''. ''Surakshita'' a campaign to prevent Sexual Abuse and Trafficking of Adolescent Girls was flaggd off on 13 November, the Day of Disadvantaged Children, by the Chairperson of the Women's Commission Andhra Pradesh and Telengana States Dr Tripurana Venkatratnam. The occasion marked the commencement of Child Rights Week being celebrated by People's Action For Rural Awakening (PARA) as part of the many events to mark the 25th year of Declaration of Child Rights Convention (CRC). Diphu Diocese celebrated the centenary of the arrival of Faith among the Karbis from 7 - 10 November amidst great jubilation and gratitude to God and to the pioneering missionaries who were instrumental in sowing the seed of Faith on the Karbi soil. The joy and happiness was palpable as delegates from different parishes had started arriving by 7 November for the celebrations.
