It was an year ago on 8th December 2011 that the Platinum Jubilee of Don Bosco,Liluah had been inaugurated. Since then the entire Don Bosco Liluah (DBL) fraternity had been waiting for December 1, 2012 to mark the inauguration of the concluding ceremony of the Jubilee with befitting solemnity. So finally the celebrations got kickstarted yesterday with an all Faith Prayer Meeting and blessing of a memorial Don Bosco\'s statue.. Read More »

From 16th to 20th November, 2012 a charismatic retreat was organized in the premises of St. Michael's Church, Katihar at the start of the Year of Faith. Fr. William Ekka, Fr. Raphael Lakra and Fr. Gabriel Dung Dung along with their team animated the retreat, in which over 2000 faithful participated. Rt. Rev. The youth of today are not seen much on the play ground, but they are present on the virtual play grounds. So, in keeping with the signs of the times, the Salesians in India too are striving to be in those virtual arenas with their Salesian presence. One concrete mode of this presence is through a website named www.donboscoyouthindia.org inaugurated on the 5th Nov 2012 by the Salesian General Councilor for Youth Pastoral, Fr Fabio Attard, in Guwahati on the occasion of a South Asian Youth Ministry symposium and Council meeting. .
