Father George Quadros breaks his record by planting paddy saplings over 1.15 lac sq. metres. Last year, the same feat had only 56,000 sq. meters covered. Father Quadros planted the saplings in 12 hours using the machinery on July 8, 2021, in the village of Curtorim Maina in South Goa. Don Bosco Youth Centre, the educational-recreational hub in Shillong, has turned into a Corona Care Centre for those infected by Covid-19. The Centre became functional on May 6, 2021, under the leadership of its director Father Michael Makri, and assisted by five lay collaborators and the members of the Salesian Family, the Salesian Sisters (FMA) and the MSMHC Sisters. The Centre provides essential services to the post-Covid-19 patients who have completed the Covid-19 treatment from different hospitals.. Read More
