Farmers' Stop in Andamans; a Social Development Project by Don Bosco Institute

Chennai, Mar. 29. Don Bosco Institute of Sustainable and Holistic Advancement (DISHA), Andamans, has initiated 'FARMERS' STOP', a marketing place where farmers benefit by trading their commodities directly.

DISHA project supported by NABARD'S RURAL HAAT is an initiative of the community of Don Bosco Andaman Ferrargunj, with the Director of DISHA, Father Ferk Simolin SDB. Father KM Jose SDB, the Provincial of Chennai Province, blessed the foundation stone along with other distinguished dignitaries and the esteemed presence of Mr Manoj, General Manager of NABARD Regional Office of Port Blair. The project is to uplift the living standards of the people. Incidentally, Don Bosco's Mission at Andamans is celebrating the Silver Jubilee of its service to the people of this beautiful island through various educational and life-oriented services.
