General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC) Donates Ambulance for Don Bosco Children

Hyderabad, Jan. 25. The General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC), in collaboration with BoscoNet and Bosco Seva Kendra, donated an ambulance for the medical and emergency needs of the street, orphan and marginalized children residing at Don Bosco Navajeevan homes in Hyderabad.
The Chairman and Managing Director of GIC, Devesh Srivastava, was present online along with other dignitaries of GIC in presenting the vehicle in the presence of Father Thathireddy Vijaya Bhaskar sdb Provincial and Father Noel Maddhichetty, sdb, Director of BoscoNet. The chairman lauded the efforts of Don Bosco in reaching out to the neediest of the society. Taking a cue from the motto of GIC, Father Noel and Father Provincial acknowledged the reassuring initiatives of GIC, creating a new hope to the needy people, especially in the rural areas of India, during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
 
Father Remalla Thomas, sdb, Director of Don Bosco Navajeevan and Father Sarath Parri, sdb Assistant Director of Bosco Seva Kendra (BSK), thanked the donors for their efforts in offering the much-needed medical facility for the abandoned boys and girls.
