Tiruchy, Oct. 23. In memory of Father Capiaghi, a great visionary with a compassionate heart, the Don Bosco Football Academy and Don Bosco School of Merit, Bosco Maiyam, Pallithammam, organized a State Level Five-a-side Football Tournament with 76 teams on October 16 and 17, 2021.

Father George, the Rector of Bosco Maiyam, Pallithammam, inaugurated the tournament. Don Bosco I.T.I Madurai bagged the memorial trophy in all three categories held under 12, 14 and 17-years. Pride Coimbatore, Muthaya Alagappa, and Bosco Maiyam left with their share of trophies from the tournament amidst over 1500 spectators.
