PALS Come Together Amid Unrelenting Pandemic

Bangalore, Aug. 2. The youth animators, leaders and Salesians of the state of Karnataka gathered for two days in the Salesian Provincial House, Bangalore, celebrating PALS-2021 (Programme for Animators, Leaders and Salesians) even amid the unrelenting pandemic. The two-day programme, slated for July 31 and August 1, had 52 youth leaders and 18 animators and Salesians (SDBs and FMAs) from 20 centres of Bosco Youth. The regional youth director, Father William D'souza SDB, facilitated the programme.
PALS-2021 had various sessions like helping young people cope with the pandemic; Purpose and goals of groups and movements; The animator, animation and accompaniment; Towards a Salesian Youth Spirituality; and Insights from Fratelli Tutti (Brotherhood Today), were handled by experts from the field. Besides, they had fun activities, a Taize prayer experience and planting of saplings.
