Bangalore, Apr. 1. As the Gospel of John 13: 15 reads, ''If I, therefore, the master and teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash one another's feet. I have given you a model to follow so that as I have done for you, you should also do,'' the Don Bosco Youth, Lingarajapuram, washed one another's feet at the celebration of the Lord's Supper here at Bangalore. Unable to contain the emotions, one of the participants said, ''The celebration of the Last Supper was so beautiful. I am so touched, and I felt like the chosen.''
Don Bosco Youth, Bangalore, organized the YOUTH CELEBRATION OF THE LORD'S SUPPER, and 40 youngsters participated in the service. The youth had an opportunity for the sacrament of reconciliation. The solemn celebration of the Lord's Supper began with the entrance procession, wherein, like the disciples asked to prepare the room, the young people brought the things necessary for the service. After the Gospel, the priests washed the feet of youth and then, in smaller groups, washed the feet of one another. ''I had the best time ever... I was able to focus so much and pray. Thank you so much,'' said a participant. After the Holy Mass, the unleavened bread was shared by all to have a unique experience. Fr Anil D'sa SDB, the Archdiocesan Youth Director, Fr Francis Bose, the Dean of Studies from Don Bosco, Mysore, and Fr D'Souza William, Regional Youth Director, led the celebration.
