Bangalore, Mar. 16. Bosco Youth Karnataka organized Hospet Zonal Convention at Chithra Don Bosco on March 13 & 14, 2021, with the theme BOSCO YOUTH FOR CHANGE. Sixty-seven young people from the Salesian communities of Chitradurga, Davangere, Hospet and Tumkur in Bangalore participated in the convention.
The convention began on the evening of March 13 with Taizé prayer. During the formal inauguration held on the following day, Fr Joe Kokkandathil SDB, Principal, Chithra Don Bosco Degree College, welcomed the gathering and delivered the presidential address. He said, 'youngsters should have the following: Aspiration, Perspiration and Inspiration.' Fr Devikanth Vivek SDB, the special guest for the day, in his message highlighted the role of young people in transforming the nation. Yuvaspandana Gangadhar, the chief guest for the day, asked the youth to channelize their power to change society.

Youth Movement is powerful machinery for the social cause, said Fr Gnanaprakash Dilip SDB, in his interaction with the young.
