Shillong, Aug. 3. Don Bosco School Silchar gave its students a unique opportunity to showcase their God-given talents at the weeklong 'Talent Fiesta' held recently in the school. The Fiesta that began on 19th July brought a festive ambiance to the school and allowed the students to give full expression to their talents in front of a large gathering of fellow students.
According to Father Nelson Joseph, the Principal of the School, the main objective of Talent Fiesta was ''to bring out and celebrate the latent talents and potentials of young and growing children''. He said he felt happy that everyone took part in different items enthusiastically and energetically.

The events for juniors included singing, dancing, mono act, rangoli, story telling and fancy dress while those of seniors were singing, dancing, mono act, instrumental, tableau and face - painting. The competition, held on the basis of the four School Houses - Rafi, Kalpana, Jimmy and Tagore, brought the best out of the students and was a treat to watch. It is hoped the event will find a place in the annual calendar of the school as a regular event every year.
