New Vice Provincial appointed for Hyderabad Province

Hyderabad, May. 6. Father Yeruva Joji Reddy, the Province Vocation Promoter & Youth Animator of Don Bosco Gunadala has been appointed as Vice Provincial of the Salesian province of Hyderabad by the Rector Major Father Angel Fernandez Artime. The current Vice Provincial, Father Vijyaya Bhaskar Thathireddy is being inducted into the youth ministry team at the Salesian Generalate in Rome.

Father Reddy was born on 1 July 1976 in Patibandla, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. He joined the aspirantate at Don Bosco Gunadala in 1989 and made his first profession on 24 May 1994 at Chandur, Andhra Pradesh. His final Profession was made on 24 May, 2000 at Don Bosco Provincial House, Hyderabad. He is a Salesian priest since 27 December 2003.

His first appointment as a priest was to Don Bosco Navajeevan, Hyderabad, as administrator & dean of studies. Thereafter he was appointed as youth animator and Vice Rector of Don Bosco, BIRDY, Hyderabad. Father Reddy has a graduate degree in Youth Ministry from Salesian Pontifical University, Rome. He has been the Vocation Promoter of Hyderabad province from 2001 to till date.
