Kolkata, Dec. 19. .  Kathmandu (Nepal):  Don Bosco School Kathmandu observed a two minute silence during the morning assembly on 17 December to pay their homage to the 132 school children mercilessly massacred  by the extremists of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) at Peshawar in Pakistan on the previous day.
All the students, teachers and non-teaching staff took part also in a  signature campaign, promising never ever to have recourse to violence, and pledging to promote LOVE, PEACE and FORGIVENESS. The school authorities placed the collected signature on a public board for display.

''The violence in Peshawar has shocked the conscience of humanity, and no words are sufficient to express the sense of sorrow and outrage felt at this horrendous and barbaric act of mindless violence perpetrated on innocent school children,'' stated the school authorities while fully endorsing the public homage of the children and staff  to the victims of the terror act.
