Chennai, Nov. 17. Chennai, 16 Nov. The inmates of Jeeva Jothi Illam, home for the aged, and thousands of school children and public paid homage to the relic this morning at Don Bosco Wisdom Town, Red Hills.
At 8.30 a.m. the casket was received at Jeeva Jothi Illam, Home for the Aged, by the Rector Fr. Gerard SDB and other Salesians and was placed in the chapel for private veneration. Fr. K. V. Sebastian conducted a prayer service in which the inmates of the Home participated fervently.

Later, the procession started from the main road leading to the Aged Home along the Grant Lyon at 10.00 a.m. It was indeed a colourful show of school students waving the flag of Don Bosco with the music band accompanying. At the entrance of Wisdom Town, the casket was once again received by the Salesian Community and wheeled on to the school stage, accompanied by school girls dancing. Some 1500 students participated in the inspiring prayer service conducted by Fr. K. V. Sebastian.

A great number of devotees from St. Anthony's Church, Puzhal, Arockia Matha Church, M.A. Nagar and Mary Magdalene Church, Red Hills, participated in the prayer service and venerated the relic privately.
