Tiruchy, Oct. 18. Don Bosco casket was brought to Don Bosco ITI at Madurai at about 8.30 a.m.  A warm welcome was given by the students with march-past, children waving colourful balloons and flowers joyfully.
The boarding boys performed a dance.  A Holy mass was celebrated by the provincial, Fr. Albert Johnson sdb.  More than 2,000 people came to the veneration, after the mass.  Fr. Francis, the Rector, organized the events meticulously.

Then the casket was taken to Don Bosco School.  Here too the students displayed a march-past to honour the saint's relic casket.  On both sides of the road, on the way to Don Bosco school, Scout and Redcross boys lined-up to welcome the casket.  The teachers of Don Bosco School organized a prayer session.  The parents of the school children and well-wishers of the school paid their respect to the saint.  More than 1000 people attended the veneration.

Again on the same day the Casket was brought to FMA Sister's convent/school.  The school girls welcomed the saint's casket with ''Bharathanattyam'' and other cultural programmes.  The Salesian sister's community garlanded the casket showing their love and honour to Don Bosco.  The sisters organized a prayer service to pay their respect and to receive the blessings of the Saint.
