DBCMaram Participates in Interstate Youth Exchange Programme

Dimapur, Mar. 11. Interstate Youth Exchange Programme 2010 was held at Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of youth Development, Chennai from 1 March to 10 March 2010, RGNIYD, Sripurumbudur.
Nine states of India participated in this cultural exchange programme. There were 9 college students (NSS) from Manipur participated in the programme of which two were from Don Bosco College, Maram, Manipur namely Jacinta Pamei and Hakmi Raihing.
The exchange programme was an enriching experience in the sense that the youth had an opportunity to mingle with the others of their age group. There were a number of sessions on various topics to empower the young to better and committed life style. Every state  was asked to performe their own cultural song and dances to manifest oneness with Indian cultural heritage. They young with lots of enthusiasm and vigour exposed their talents.  The participants had the chance to meet the Governor of Tamil Nadu as well on this occasion. They were taken to different parts of the city to see different places like the biggest coast guard ship of India. @
